Forcecage
Action – Cube (100 ft.) – 7th Level (Abjuration) – VSM – 1 Hours
Materials: You require Ruby Dust, typically valued at 1500 gold. This spell consumes the material.
Utility
- You create an immobile, invisible, cube-shaped prison of magical force. The prison may be either a cage or a solid box. The cage extends into the Ethereal Plane, blocking ethereal travel.
- Cage: Up to 20 ft. on a side, formed by 1/2-inch diameter bars spaced 1/2 inch apart. A creature inside the cage cannot leave by nonmagical means.
- Box: Up to 10 ft. on a side, a solid barrier that blocks matter and prevents spells from passing into or out of the area.
- Creatures fully inside the area are trapped. Creatures partially inside, or too large to fit, are pushed outward until completely outside the area. If a creature attempts to teleport or use interplanar travel, it must first succeed on a Charisma saving throw.
- This spell cannot be dispelled by dispel magic.
Charisma Save
- Failure: The attempt fails, the magic is wasted, and the creature remains trapped.
- Success: The creature may exit the forcecage using that magic.
