Speak With Dead
Standing near a dead body, you light incense while speaking words of comfort for the dead. The smoke curls and flows into the body’s mouth, enabling it to briefly answer five questions of your choice.

Utility Spell
You draw the soul of a corpse back into their body, allowing them to answer questions. The corpse can’t be undead or otherwise be unable to be raised from the dead. This spell can only be used on a given corpse once every 10 days.
You (and only you) can ask the corpse up to five questions. The corpse knows only what they knew in life, including the languages they knew. The corpse will respond verbally in a language of their choice.
Answers are usually brief, cryptic, or repetitive, as the dead are often confused or fixated on the moment of their death and the events leading to that. Corpses animated in this way have a very limited ability to understand information you give them. They cannot see, smell, feel, or learn information from their surroundings.
The corpse is under no compulsion to offer a useful or truthful answer.
