Sanctify

Action (Ritual: 1 Minute) - 1 Object (Touch) - 1st Level (Abjuration) - VSM - 8 Hours

Materials: You require 0.2 pounds of pure holy silver and iron powder (one quarter sterling silver, three quarters iron), typically valued at 25 gold. You can alternatively use a pound of holy water to sanctify a weapon. This spell consumes this material.

Enchant Item

  • You touch a weapon. That weapon counts as a silver weapon if it wasn't already.

  • Alternatively, you can bless a pound of water, which becomes holy water. If you use this spell to create holy water, the duration is permanent.

Holy Water:

Action - 1 Creature (20 ft.) - 1 Charge - Magical

Holy water only deals damage to fiend or undead creature. The DC for holy water equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + dexterity modifier (of the person throwing the holy water).

Dexterity Save

  • Failure: 4d6 radiant damage.

  • Success: Half damage.

Diluting holy water diminishes its effectiveness. If there is less than 0.2 pounds of holy silver and iron powder per pound of water, the water deals less damage, proportional to the reduced ratio. Holy water cannot be concentrated to deal more damage.

Classes:

Cleric, Paladin
