Produce Flame

You blow into your open hand, and a fire forms in your palm. You can hold the fire or throw it at a creature.

Action - 1 Creature (90 ft.) - Cantrip (Conjuration) - VS - 1 Hour

Utility Spell

A flame appears in your empty hand and harms neither you nor your equipment. The flame sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.

You can also attack with the flame, which extinguishes it, either when you cast this spell, or later as an action.

Ranged Spell Attack

If this spell damages a vehicle or object that is flammable and has hit points, the object is set on fire**.

  • Hit: 1d8 fire damage*

*At Higher Levels: This spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach a total character or creature level of 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).

**Some objects may be too large or flammable to be simply extinguished as an action, and will require creative solutions. Additionally, some vehicles or other objects may have a 'damage threshold'. For example, a fire bolt would have to deal at least 5 damage to damage and ignite a wooden catapult. Once ignited, the ignited object takes 1d10 fire damage at the end of each of the caster's turns, which is dealt regardless of the target's damage threshold.
